The Reserve R200 bookshelf speakers from Polk draw on the company's long history of clever engineering and reliable construction. The 6-1/2 "ConeTM driver for rotary engine provides a precise, realistic midrange. The corporate uses the same driver in its upscale Legend Series. These speakers can produce deep bass without distortion thanks to the X-Port. Additionally, the 1" ring radiator loudspeaker has a built-in waveguide for a large "sweet spot." "R-series bookshelf speakers are free of unwanted high-frequency resonance.

This set of R 200s can be used with confidence as the front or rear channels of a Reserve Series surround audio system or as a component of an audiophile-grade stereophonic system. With a sensitivity rating of 85.6 dB, the Reserve-200 by Polk can likely be amplified effectively. To drive these speakers, I highly advise a high-output power amp or integrated amp.

 The Polk Reserve R-200's new 1" high definition Pinnacle ring radiator speaker is the result of more than 40 years of speaker innovation, design, and prototyping.
